Endel Ruberg art show at Eesti Kodu fills the hall with art and people

As people and art filled the main hall at Eesti Kodu, people walked around looking at the innovative styles of painting and crafts spearheaded by Endel Ruberg. He went beyond that by teaching youth in Montreal and in Toronto. He taught leather works in three dimension and passed the craft to the handicapped.

Ruberg was remembered by master of ceremonies Ms Jarve-Vomm who gave a short but thorough history of his life. Laine McColl played a piano interlude and Leila Ruberg explained her memories of Endel.

The final prayer was given by Ilmar Marten with whom Ruberg had spent time in the Finnish Army doing recon, behind the lines.

A film by Alar Kivilo gave an in depth history of a great man. A memorable trip down memory lane.
